Det er med tungt hjerte vi bringer dere nyheten om at Lars Løberg Tofte har bestemt seg for å slutte i Heroes & Zeros av musialske grunner. Bandet vil i vår gjøre 3 eksklusive konserter som blir hans siste med bandet. Vi ønsker Lars all lykke fremover med eventuelle andre prosjekter og forsikrer dere om at Heroes & Zeros vil bestå og allerede er godt i gang med materiale til ny plate.

The festival
The first ever alternative rock festival in Tel Aviv will take place on October 1st-3rd, with 4 acts on the first day, 6 acts on the second, and 4 more on the last day, with noon and evening shows. The shows will be held at 'Tzavta hall 1' (capacity: 380 people) and 'Tzavta 2' (capacity: 100 people). The festival is produced by Hamon Volume with Tzavta and it is the first time Israel's alternative scene takes this kind of center stage.
The vision
Tel Aviv's alternative rock scene is rapidly growing and developing. There is an increasing number of young band and performing artists composing and performing current music, influenced by the ever growing international alternative music scene.
In recent years there between 40 and 60 alternative rock groups based mostly in Tel Aviv, with the most prominent ones performing in international tours and festivals.
Locally, most alternative artists and bands perform in clubs which are associated with the genre and ultimately are confined to these specific places. On the other hand, the more "commercial" rock genre seems to be stuck in the same place for several years.
Our goal is to bring the alternative scene closer to the center and to the main stage, which is why we have chosen 'Tzavta' - home of Shlomo Artzi, Shalom Hanoch and possibly the most recognized main stream venue in Tel Aviv.
The need for a local alternative festival is great. There have been a few similar events in recent years, but never in Tel Aviv, which is the center of activity for the genre and its fans. In similar festivals crowds have exceeded 3,000 people and therefore we predict a similar response for our festival.
We expect roughly 3,000 people for the 3 days of the festival, ages 18-30 mostly. The fans will be able to purchase a ticket for all 3 days or a one day ticket which will grant access to every show on the day in both halls.
Line up
The festival's line up is still in the works, with the intention being to bring a wide section of the leading acts in Israel, such as:
Midnight Peacocks, Carusella, Haivrit, Antibiotika, Reines Girls, Electra, Amit Erez, Zaka and more.
These acts are well established in Israel's alternative scene and have a large fan base that grows with every show, this festival is the best place to see your favorite group, or discover a new group to follow.

Check out Lars` noisy side project
Ofag, featuring members of Superfamily and Balkanensemblet.
On March 15th 2008 they recorded Session One in Oslo, Norway, in company of guesting performers Andreas Paleologos of Rockettohtesky and Cuckoo, and Rolf-Yngve Uggen of Gluecifer, Astroburger and Smoke Mohawk.
This session is what became the project's debut album, titled "Session One: Oslo". An hour of 100% improvised versatile joy - inspired by the likes of Edgar Varese, Delia Derbyshire, Peter Zinovieff, Luigi Russolo, Daphne Oram and even actor Klaus Kinski.

Recording Sessions
Hey folks!
We've spent the last months recording our second album in Oslo as well as in the deep woods between Arendal and Tvedestrand, only interrupted by a short tour in Germany. We..re not done yet, and we'll probably use the rest of november finishing the recording session. As always, our sound is massive, however the songs are more ominous and darker than on "Strange Constellation". We're super-excited and feel confident that you'll be pleasantly surprised by our next album.

Støttekonsert for Skral Festival 2. desember
Vi er veldig lei oss for at våre venner bak vår absolutte favorittfestival, Skral Festival, må legge ned grunnet økonomiske problemer! Derfor spiller vi, i regi av Nøgne Ø, en støttekonsert for "den lille festivalen med det store hjertet" på Luftslottet i Grimstad!
Tirsdag 2. desember trommes det sammen til en solid markering som skal fronte at gode initiativ ikke bør straffe seg! Målsetting er gründerne bak Skral etter denne datoen kan stryke en stor del av den private gjelden de har opparbeidet seg.
Alle dere 13000 som besøkte festivalen i år vet med andre ord hvor dere har å finne dere 2. desember, som en takk til den fantastiske gjengen bak Skral Festival!

"In the slipstream vol 1" is dedicated to everyone who came out to see us over the last couple of years, and we offer this release as a tribute to all of you! For those of you who have never caught us live before, these 45 minutes features 5 live recordings that we feel captures what we`re about on stage, a trio who sounds as big as a six-piece, not afraid to mix things up and venture into free-form exercises if the mood is just right. Enjoy! We sure did!

Trænafestivalen
After a six hour boatride watching the second most beautiful skerries in the world (after the ones i Lillesand of course), we arrived at Trænafestivalen close to the Arctic circle. And what a festival! Fantastic scenery, great acts and the best people! We found out that El Axel is a nice guy (just be careful on his porch), Chris Lee prefers to go to bed just before the boat leaves, and the guys in My Midnight Creeps enjoy The Midnight Sun as much as we do..! Ida Maria is as always a chapter for herself, and the guys in Rocket To The Sky are the best dancers ever!!!
